What's New? The Urgent Behaviour Help Session

I am pleased to announce a new service – the urgent behaviour help session!

What: this is a ½ hour virtual session to help you understand and begin to work on your dog’s behaviour challenge. This service is not a replacement for an in person or virtual initial behaviour consultation, but rather an opportunity to speak with a certified and experienced professional while you are waiting for a consult (or considering a consult). As we all know, meeting with a specialist often has a waiting period before your first visit.

Who: this is suitable for pretty much any behaviour problem, whether it is reactivity/aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or even a concern with a new puppy (and maybe puppy class doesn’t start for another month!). If you are concerned about your dog’s behaviour, then I am concerned about it.

When: this service is available Mondays/ Wednesdays/ Thursdays. I will do my best to schedule as quickly as possible, with the understanding that I am still doing in person consults and working at my part time job.

Where: your home! This session is virtual so we get to both stay home, but if needed, I can see what your home environment looks like on screen.

Why: waiting sucks!

An intake questionnaire must be completed and received 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. Payment via PayPal or etransfer is required 12 hours prior to the start of your scheduled session. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your session, your time slot and payment are forfeited. These sessions are booked via Zoom and scheduled on Eastern Standard Time. They are available in English, and you will receive an email summary after your session. If you opt to schedule an urgent behaviour help session and then either a virtual or in person initial consult with me, you will receive a $40 discount off of the initial consult cost.

Any questions, drop me a line at!
